Martina Pixová
When Martina became a Christian back in 2000, Josiah Venture English camp was one of her first ministry opportunities. She immediately fell in love with the English camp culture. She loved serving Czech students side by side with her Czech and American brothers and sisters. Every summer she was involved with camps, leading, loving, caring and investing in others - both believers and nonbelievers. After nine years of faithfully serving at camps with her local church, Martina was invited to serve as a summer intern with Josiah Venture. This experience strengthened her desire to be a part of the English camp ministry on a national level. In 2010 she was officially asked to join the English camp team. Even though it was hard for her to leave her family and friends in Pisek, she knew God had a special plan and purpose for her, and she responded by moving across the country to Cesky Tesin to be closer to the English camp ministry. Today, Martina continues to live and serve in Cesky Tesin. In September 2015, she started working on the JV International Team as the new Conference director and leader of the Executive Admin Team.
