Weronika Kusmider

Weronika was brought up in a Christian family but didn’t believe in God herself. She was broken, without hope and purpose in life, and struggled with depression. When she gave her life to Jesus at the age of 17, she knew that she wanted to use her experiences and past challenges to reach teenagers who were in a similar situation, and tell them that God is the only solution to their problems.

She started being more involved in the local youth group and, at the age of 18, she left for Bible school in England. After 2 years away, Weronika started praying about the next step for her. It became clear to her that it was time to go back to Poland. Looking for ministry opportunities in her country, she found out about Josiah Venture (JV) and EXIT Tour. She contacted Sara—the EXIT Tour director in Poland—went for their first mission week, and loved it. After a few months of volunteering with EXIT Tour, in September of 2018, Weronica joined Fala—JV’s National Organization in Poland.

Weronika’s role in EXIT Tour is the tour manager, which includes all the tour logistics, recruiting and communicating with schools, and coordinating the EXIT Tour week. She is also one of the youth leaders at her local church and leads a small group for teenagers. Weronika believes with her whole heart that our God is bigger than suicidal thoughts, self-harming, lack of self-acceptance, or toxic relationships. Whether in her home town or across the whole of Poland, her dream is to share with as many young people as possible that there is a solution to all their struggles and his name is Jesus.
