Tim & Sue Cheshire
Skye, Fin, Joel
After spending the last 20 years pioneering new ways to reach young people through music throughout the UK and Europe, Tim and Sue Cheshire are thrilled to bring their knowledge and experience to further develop and promote EXIT Tour, an evangelical outreach ministry that helps connect high school students with local churches by touring rock bands to various towns and hosting performances and intervention programs in local high schools. As founder of the Christian rock band, Superhero, Tim has spent well over a decade touring, handing out Bibles and partnering with organizations, churches and individuals across much of Europe. He has a specific passion to help forge new ways for local churches to engage with the young people in their communities. Together, he and Sue, are passionate about discipleship and developing ways to see young people fully integrated into the local church. They believe strongly that God is using EXIT Tour to reach a great number of young people and are committed to help further advance this ministry throughout many remaining JV countries. Tim, Sue and their three children, Skye, Fin and Joel, will be based in Scotland, where they will serve as support team for EXIT Tour ministries throughout Central and Eastern Europe.
Tim is also the director of our UK Mobilising Organisation JVUK, based in Glasgow. He is working hard to connect with churches across the UK with a desire to forge lasting partnerships; promote discipleship; and train, equip, and encourage young people both in the UK, as well as in many countries across Central and Eastern Europe. By connecting churches and individuals from around the UK with JV’s teams and national organisations across Europe, and providing short-term teams, interns, and staff, the movement of God is fueled among the youth.
