Daniel & Maruška Skonc
Daniel has been involved in youth ministry and has over 10 years experience leading youth groups, organizing camps, and working as a volunteer in the church. He studied land-surveying, but was called to full-time ministry. He serves in the Training Centre Kompas (Josiah Venture’s partner organization in Slovakia) by organizing the annual KPM conference—their national training event for youth leaders. His biggest passion is supporting youth leaders in his church, discipling young men, and helping in his local Lutheran Church in Bardejov. His wife Maruška served JV Slovakia for 15 years and, with JV’s blessing, moved out of her role with JV in 2022 to start a new counseling ministry called Zera Counseling.
