Jonathan Johnson
Jonathan experienced missions through his family from an early age. God used this exposure to begin to form in Jonathan a desire to serve overseas. In university, God provided the opportunity for Jonathan to engage with various aspects of youth ministry from the local church to camp ministry as well as travel to Eastern Europe for a semester abroad. During that semester, Jonathan fell in love with the people and culture of Eastern Europe. After a vision trip to the Josiah Venture team in Latvia in early 2022, the mission, ministry, and people further captured his heart. His desire to join the vision of JVLV (Josiah Venture’s partnering organization in Latvia) has only grown since his return from that trip. When Jonathan departs in spring of 2023, he will be working with JVLV and the local church and youth in Latvia to create disciples who are making disciples.
