Kecia first served with Josiah Venture (JV) as a summer intern in 2012 and then returned as full-time staff in 2014 to serve with the team in Hungary. There, she partnered with a local church in Veszprém and spent her time helping lead her church youth group, discipling and mentoring young women, developing next generation leaders, and providing administrative support for the Hungary team leader. She loved making Hungary home, and it is her heart's desire to see the youth of Hungary equipped to make disciples. However, in 2021, God opened the door for her to be a part of that vision on a larger scale—by serving on the US mobilizing team in a Human Resource role. In February 2021, she began transitioning from Hungary to the JV US team by providing administrative assistance to those on the field and preparing new missionaries to be sent. Kecia is excited to use her administrative skills, as well as her years of experience in Hungary, to continue to fuel the movement of God in Central and Eastern Europe.
