About

Tyler and Lara met and married while studying in Chicago and connected over a shared calling to missions. After getting married, God began to nurture in them a deep love for the young Christian leaders of Europe. The Pattys moved to the Czech Republic as missionaries in 2018.

Tyler and Lara desire to see emerging leaders trained and released to make disciples in Central and Eastern Europe. They serve internationally by leading the Higher Education department, which supports Europe-wide initiatives in theological education and research. Tyler and Lara work particularly closely with Moorlands College to provide a B.A. in Applied Theology to European students. They also serve in their local church in Havirov through teaching and hospitality.

Tyler and Lara have three sons, Judah (b. 2015), Asher (b. 2017), and Simeon (b. 2020).

2024 Fall Conference – Word Formed

In today’s world, young people face a constant barrage of conflicting messages about identity, truth, and relationships. But where can they turn for real answers? This year’s Fall Conference was dedicated to helping young leaders engage with the transformative power of Scripture in fresh, meaningful ways. The theme of this year’s conference, “Word Formed,” focused on helping young people transition from seeing Scripture as an obligation to embracing it as a source of light, life, and clarity. Through this shift, they can form a more profound understanding of their identity, convictions, and relationships, preparing them for a hopeful and resilient future.

This Changes Everything

Štěpán is one of those young leaders with an infectious joy. When God is doing something in his life, he can’t help but share it. There is no question about the things that energize him -- people, music, and his Savior. This joy is a great gift to those he leads in the Fusion ministry in Pisek, Czech Republic. God has used this ministry in Pisek to not only draw the lost to himself, but also to equip believers to share their faith and use their gifts to glorify God.

2019 Israel Trip – Nourish

The theme of the Israel singles trip was: “Nourish: Drawing on your Old Testament Roots.” We toured the Promised Land assuming that God still speaks through the Old Testament. Dave Patty used Old Testament stories to teach on leadership, while Tyler Patty taught on various Old Testament genres.
