Missionary Bio

About

Mike has served with Josiah Venture (JV) since February 2003, following a short-term trip to Slovakia in 2001 that changed the direction of his life. After falling in love with the people, culture, and mission, he left corporate America to invest in the lives of young people across Central and Eastern Europe.

In his early years with JV, Mike helped develop a model youth ministry in Slovakia, worked closely with national leadership, and supported evangelistic movements throughout the country. He later served on JV’s member care team in the Czech Republic, providing care, communication, and ongoing staff support.

After returning to the United States to mobilize and recruit new workers, Mike moved back to Slovakia in 2019. He now serves on JV’s International team in multiple leadership roles, including Director of Operations, OKR Ministry Coach, and Project Manager.

God called us to love him and love others. He commissioned us to make disciples, looking to Jesus as the example. He has specifically called me to equip the JV Staff with my administrative gifts. And, along the way, to lead young people in a growing relationship with Jesus by making disciples.
