Honza & Kateřina Kabut
Honza and Kača were first introduced to Josiah Venture at a summer camp in 2007, where they began serving young people in their town. In 2011, they helped establish Fusion—a gospel, rock, and pop music evangelistic ministry in their local church in Frýdlant nad Ostravicí. Through camps and Fusion, God ignited their hearts for youth ministry, and, now, both of them desire to equip young leaders and invite non-believing students to get involved in these ministries.
Honza has been serving since 2016 in the international Communications team of Josiah Venture, where he supports other missionaries serving in Central and Eastern Europe through organizing conferences and creating digital media. Kača joined KAM (Josiah Venture’ partner organization in Czech) in 2018. She leads the HR department and is part of the leadership team for all of KAM. Her responsibilities include, for example, care and its development for both Czech and American missionaries, hiring and onboarding new missionaries, and maintaining the legal obligations that the organization has.
Both of them now support other missionaries at national and international levels to help them do their work as effectively as possible and to have sufficient resources to equip other young leaders.
Honza and Kača are actively involved in their local church in Frýdlant n. O., working with the younger generation through Fusion, summer camps, weekend retreats, and small groups. They help manage the church's finances and AV. Both of them look forward to many more years of seeing how God uses their gifts in their roles in both the international and national teams, and in the local church. They long for God to move the hearts of teenagers.
