Missionary Bio

About

Nicholas and Jessica met while sharing the gospel with international students. They both believed God had designed them to live as overseas missionaries. After they got married, they pursued this dream and landed in China. Over the next decade, they had two girls (Evelyn and Charlotte) and spent 8 years in China. Nicholas taught English literature and Jessica led a youth ministry. Their family was a witness to the international community.

In 2021, Jessica experienced a life-changing illness that led her to ask God what was next in her life. God was faithful and answered her in that exact moment, reminding her of her college trip to Poland with Josiah Venture (JV).

Nicholas and Jessica began praying for wisdom and for God to open doors to Europe. They returned to the United States in 2024 and began their journey toward becoming JV missionaries.

The Denenberg family will focus on discipling young people in Poland. They hope that God uses their family to teach young leaders to say yes to God’s plans.
