Jany accepted Christ in 2001 at the age of 16. Two years later, Jany joined his youth group’s leadership team to help organize their first English camp in Prešov, Slovakia. In 2006, Jany took the leadership role for his church’s evangelistic English camps. Lenka came from a traditional Christian family. After being invited to youth group, camps, and a small group, Lenka eventually accepted Christ personally, and, consequently, started leading in her local junior high ministry.

In 2010, Jany joined Josiah Venture (JV). He is a regional trainer who intentionally trains young leaders from churches in a wider area in the discipleship process. He is one of the elders in his church, is involved in the mission department, helps with JV’s national youth conference, and leads a national conference for men.

Lenka joined JV in September 2014 and she served as a director of EXIT Tour in Slovakia. Now she is taking care of their three very little kids and discipling young girls.

They were married in October 2014 and they are actively involved in the Žilina Lutheran youth group, discipling teenagers and equipping young leaders.
