Missionary Bio
About
Evgenia grew up in a family of Christians and active servants of the Lord. Ever since she was little, she has been going to summer camps and knows how much impact they can have on a young heart. She gave her life to Christ when she was 7, after her parents made it clear that following God is a decision she needed to make for herself. And since then, God has been leading her to know him deeper every year.
When she was 12 years old, the musical ministry Fusion started in Bulgaria. It was her first time experiencing camps and the Gospel being shared this way;Â she fell in love with it. As the years passed by and she met a lot of interns and missionaries during the summers, she began to dream about being like them and serving the Lord. So, when she graduated, she decided to be an intern for Josiah Venture three times and prayed to God to lead her where he wanted her to serve. After the internships, God continued to break her heart for Bulgaria and the youth there. Just as she has witnessed the miracles God has done in her hometown church where her parents Tsvetan and Maya serve, she longs to see the Lord do miracles in the churches she goes to in Sofia, where she is studying. She can feel her heart burning to be part of the revival God is doing in Bulgaria. So, with bold faith she decided to become full-time staff with Josiah Venture and join the movement. She is managing the social media presence of the organisation there called Istinski Horizonti and helping with design and photography. She has in her heart to lead young people to Jesus through art and music.
