Olya first became acquainted with Josiah Venture at an English camp in 2004 near Rivne, Ukraine. As an 18-year-old camper, she had been invited there from her little home church in Kolomiya, where she grew up in a family that was half Christian. Thanks to her mom and relatives who taught her to seek and love God, she gave her heart to Christ in 2001, at age 14. After graduating college Olya moved to L’viv, where she found work and the opportunity to be active in a local church. It was during this time that she first heard about JV’s Fusion program. She remembered feeling excited but never imagined that she would be able to join this ministry. Within a year she began serving with JV English camps and on the worship team at New Life church. In 2013, JV began plans to launch Fusion in Ukraine. Knowing that these programs would be effective for sharing the gospel in her home country and believing that God does big things with little people, Olya took a huge step of faith by joining Josiah Venture to help start this ministry.
