Bára Čížková
Bára grew-up in a non-christian family in the Czech Republic. In 2009, she met a Christian teacher who loved to spend free-time with students. This teacher invited her to a Josiah Venture (JV) English camp. Years later, she gave her life to Christ at camp and started attending a local church in Prague. She became active in her youth ministry by discipling others and equipping leaders. In 2013, she was invited to join a team going on a mission trip to Ukraine. There, God gave Bára a passion for Ukrainian teenagers and for missions. In the following years, Bára returned to Ukraine to serve as a summer intern. She also did an extended internship, which was extended from just a few months to two years. Bára was convinced that God was calling her to Ukraine and decided to join JV’s staff there. Currently, she lives in Rivne, a city in Northwestern Ukraine. Bára is involved in local church ministry and discipling young girls. She also serves on Ukraine's Camps Team. Her main responsibility is to oversee European camps, which are done in partnership with short-term teams coming from local churches across Europe to serve in Ukraine.
