Coryell Juchems
After going on her first short-term mission trip to Romania in 2007, Cory knew that her life would never be the same. During her stay she felt deeply impressed not only with how passionate people there were about living for Christ and making disciples, but also by the overwhelming need of broken people in need of a Savior in that region. Over the next several years, Cory kept returning to Romania and nearby Slovakia to serve alongside local churches and with Josiah Venture. In 2010 she served as a summer intern with JV in Slovakia. Realizing that God had begun shaping her heart after the vision and mission of Josiah Venture, Cory began asking if God was drawing her there to serve long-term. Over the next few years, she led two more short-term teams to Slovakia, after which she was asked by JV to officially join its staff. Cory is in Levice, Slovakia, where she works with a youth group in a local church and assists with summer English camps.
