Jiri & Jana Jedlicka
Jirka Jedlicka was born in Bavorov, Czech Republic. When his parents divorced, he moved with his mother to Prague, where he lived for 20 years. Despite being baptized as an infant, he did not feel good enough for God. When Jirka was 19 years old he met missionaries from the States who taught him about God’s grace. Shortly afterwards he started to study the Bible and was baptized again. Jirka served as a leader in Bible clubs for many years. Later he started teaching and preaching regularly, eventually joining his church’s leadership in Prague, where he also worked full-time in IT. Later he moved across the country to Trebic with his wife, Jana, and started working as social worker with youth in a community center. While in Trebic Jirka started and led the youth group in a local church. He first got involved with Josiah Venture in the summer of 2011 while leading an English camp for his church. Two years later he began serving with the English camp team for KAM, Josiah Venture’s partner organization in the Czech Republic. Today he and Jana still live and serve in Trebic with their two children, Ella and Jan.
