Kristiāna grew up around Josiah Venture camps. In 2011, during a stay in the hospital, Kristiāna’s heart was broken for people who are hurting and hopeless, who do not yet know Jesus. After that, she began serving in a local Fusion ministry, a ministry that uses rock/gospel choirs to reach unchurched youth. Kristiāna joined Josiah Venture officially as a part-time administrative assistant in August, 2012. Once she graduated from university in 2013, she committed fully to ministry. Now, Kristiāna leads the “Atbalsta Komanda”, JV’s support team in Latvia. This team is responsible for providing the necessary administrative support to ensure that all of the other ministries in JV’s Latvian organization run smoothly. Kristiāna also works in a local Fusion ministry and disciples young women. She enjoys being a part of Fusion and loves seeing young lives being transformed by Christ, as youth meet Him through relationships with believers. Kristiāna attends a small home church in her city of Riga.
