Irina became a Christian when her friend, who was going to Sunday school at a local church, asked if Irina wanted to join her. She believed God from an early age, but she started serving at the local church when she was 14 years old. Her role was to play music and lead in worship. As she was on the stage, it was also the first time her future husband saw her. Having passion for music and being challenged by God to invest her time into the next generation, she accepted the call to start building up Fusion choir in her local church in Rakvere. She has been shepherding this flock of 40-50 young people since 2014. Starting in 2015, she has been helping other churches around Estonia get involved with the Fusion movement. Irina and Madis Pikat have a daughter Mona-Lisa and Joosep.
