Miriam Paszová

Miriam has been serving with Josiah Venture (JV) since April of 2013. In 2006, she had an opportunity to work as a Youth Worker in Western Europe. Some years before that, she also worked as a volunteer in the Czech Republic. She loved the job in the West but also loved her home country (CZ) and the people living there. After five months, she came back home with a vision to serve and work with Czech youth.

After 40 days of prayer, Miriam was invited to work with Josiah Venture. At that time, she was asking God where He would like her to be – an invitation from JV came within a few days. A few months later, she became a coordinator of training programs. She now works as a manager of education and a lecturer of Christian Heritage programs that have been offered to primary and secondary schools in the Czech Republic.

Before joining JV, Miriam earned her master´s degree in Social Management, worked as a Project Coordinator in the Silesian Diacony, and then as a Pastoral Worker for Children and Young People in SCEAV (Lutheran Church) in Bohumín.

Miriam served in many children camps and youth camps as a helper or a group leader. Currently, Miriam's ministry is in Bohumín, Czech Republic, where she is involved in the discipleship of young women in her church, works with the youth and middle-aged generation, and organizes ecumenical and outreach events.
