Missionary Bio
About
Geoff worked as an English teacher from 1996-98 in the Czech Republic, after being introduced to the country through his first wife, Martina. The connection he had with students gave him a desire to see these young people grow into adults that influence their society for the better.
From 2012, for several years they brought US teams to serve with local churches and connect with Czech students through English conversation and summer camps. After Martina passed in 2019, Geoff joined Josiah Venture full time. He now serves in his region of Ústà nad Labem coaching young leaders, helping churches cooperate regionally, and coaching new JV missionaries in raising support. He still enjoys connecting with students through English conversation and other outreach opportunities.
Geoff remarried to Lucie, a high school teacher, in 2023. Now, with her two sons, they all live in a small town just outside of Ústi nad Labem.
