Media Academy is an event hosted by the International C-team to develop skills in creativity & communication for local & national ministries.

The goals of Media Academy are:

• To equip & empower ministry creatives and media workers in C & E Europe with skill development and collaboration, so that attendees have tools, next steps and a community of feedback to better tackle local & national ministry in the digital space.
• To pass on the international C-team’s knowledge of tangible skills, ministry experience, and built character traits within team & creative communications work.

We achieve this through guided skill tracks, intentional collaborative projects, focused time on local work, and creative spaces to share ideas and learn from peers & professionals.

The Media Academy is focused towards three personas (within a local/national ministry context):

• The young budding creative (gen-Z, focusing on 1-2 hard communication skills, looking for skill growth and community)
• The communicative church/ministry leader (millennial, generalist in ministry, focusing on how to lead and equip other hard=skill communication workers in their ministry)
• The missional media professional (experts in one or many communication skills, focusing on growth in “skill-discipleship” and the passing on of their knowledge in their local contexts).

More details will come for these personas, but for now we would love to invite these people, whether or not they are on staff with JV or national org (note: If not staff, we would highly recommend a JV staff to accompany them to Media Academy).

The guaranteed outcomes for any attendee of Media Academy is:

• Growth in specific communication skill(s)
• Plans / Solutions to projects & issues from local ministry communication needs
• Network connections to lean on in collaborative efforts (with follow-up touch points spearheaded by the International Communications Team)
