Col. 2:6-7 says, “So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in Him, rooted and built up in Him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.” The Josiah Venture team has created two discipleship programs designed for small group use, which teach new believers how to be rooted and built up in their faith as they follow Jesus Christ.

“Elements” is a discipleship tool to help new believers learn the basics of their faith in Christ. It is an interactive DVD in 11 languages, designed for high school and university age students, to be used in small groups or one-on-one settings.

The purpose of Elements is to help in building a foundation for growth in Christ. This study tool focuses on seven basic elements that help the students understand what it means to now be “in Christ” and grow in Him. Elements is presented in an engaging, relevant manner that captures a person’s emotions and heart and not just their head. Since it focuses on the foundational “elements” of a relationship with Jesus, the students learn the basics of what it means to have new life in Jesus Christ.

Turbo 316

In order to assure that the broadcast of Exit 316 in the Czech Republic has maximum impact, a central part of the project is a parallel campaign to motivate and equip the church, called Turbo316. This gives young believers the tools for how to use the show as the basis for an evangelistic Bible study, either with a group or one-on-one. Follow-up materials have been prepared for new believers, and there is a web site with answers to questions and “evangelistic chat” which accompanies the broadcast.
