About
Ross and Lyubov met through Josiah Venture’s (JV) Camps ministry as they both served among the youth of Bulgaria. Despite growing up in two totally different worlds, an ocean apart, they were both raised in Christian homes and grew up committedly serving the local church. Now, with a growing family, they recognize God’s hand in preparing them for his mission by providing different growing opportunities throughout the years. Ross did several short-term mission trips to Bulgaria with JV from the States, and Lyubov was involved as a camper, intern, and later became a national JV missionary. They joined forces in Bulgaria in 2023, focusing on pouring into the local church, while fulfilling different roles on the JV Bulgaria team.Â
Three moves and three kids later, God is faithfully leading them into new roles in Kyustendil, Bulgaria. Ross will be starting a Fusion ministry to help fill the need for evangelism in the local church. (Fusion is an outreach ministry that builds community with teenagers through music and performing arts.) He will also continue to serve in other ways, including preaching and being involved with national projects on the Bulgaria team. Lyubov has always had a heart for theology and discipleship, and, alongside being a mom of 3, she will host a home group and co-lead the worship ministry in the local church. She continues to seek God for how to reach and equip Bulgarian women, young and old, with practical truths for Christian living.
