About
Kuba Vejmelka comes from the city of Brno, where he was raised by Christian parents. In 2016, he and his wife Monika got married. After a few years of working for a big international software company, they accepted God’s calling to join Josiah Venture (JV) in April 2018. They have 3 kids: a daughter named Rosie Nora and two boys named Arthur Ezra and Vincent Bono.
For almost a decade, Kuba led the WAVE youth ministry in Brno’s non-denominational church, Evangelical Fellowship. Together with his team, they created a community where people could meet Christ and be transformed by his love, no matter what they came with. In 2022, he handed over leadership to a new leader. Today, Kuba and his family are part of a new church, CityHouse Brno, where he is a part of an advisory board and preaches from time to time.
Kuba’s focus is to help youth leaders in Christian churches to create communities that embody Christ’s great commission. Since April 2024, Kuba has been serving as the director of the Czech national organization (KAM).
