Scott and Marianne have been working in youth ministry for many years, teaching, leading and mentoring teens through their local church. Their first Josiah Venture English Camp to Latvia in 2009 revealed the magnitude of the needs of the youth there and began to generate the pull on Scott and Marianne’s hearts to serve the youth of Latvia.  Trips back in 2010 and 2011 reinforced and confirmed God’s leading them to cross-cultural, long-term missions.  They expect to start serving in Latvia in 2012 with a focus on discipleship training for youth leaders.  They anticipate living in Riga, the capital of Latvia.  Scott and Marianne are from Fort Collins, Colorado and have two children, Riley, age 21, and Katie, age 18.
