Gatis & Linda Jurmalis

Gatis began serving as a youth leader in his church in 2002. He attended a Josiah Venture School of Leaders in 2006 and continued his journey with JV through his church’s first English Camp in 2007. Gratis worked at a bank, but dreamt of being able to devote all of his time to ministry with youth in Latvia, his home country. He was invited to become a full-time staff member of JV in 2009. Having left his bank job, Gatis began serving with JV in June 2011. Gatis is serving on the JV Latvia training program leadership team. Gatis, Linda, Helena, Jonatan and Jacob reside in Riga where Linda is a full-time university student.
