Lauree Austin

Lauree Austin first came to the Czech Republic in 1998 as part of the English camp team from her Oregon youth group.  Because that trip was her first cross culture experience, it had always provided a good memory for her future traveling, but it was never a dream to return to Czech for ministry.  Lauree’s heart for ministry had always been directed toward humanitarian aid in Africa, and she completed her degree in African Studies with the intent to move to West Africa in 2007.  However, ten years after her first trip to Czech, God clearly showed Lauree his desire for her in ministry, and she joined the Josiah Venture family in April of 2008 to serve on the Bteam, the team that serves the entire JV family by providing access to care, support, and resources. Lauree initially took on the job of the 2×3 Capital Campaign manager and helped produce the US Vision Night eleven-city tour in the Fall of 2008.  Her previous experience in tour production and show management before she joined JV has also helped her in her role as part of the EXIT Tour school ministry throughout Czech, Poland and Slovakia.  Lauree’s heart passion is for the care and support of the JV staff family. She loves any opportunity to visit JV staff in their churches, ministries, homes and experience their world, so that she might encourage and support them on the front lines of ministry!
