Nate first came to Czech Republic in the summer of 2001 as a summer intern and fell in love with English camps and the people with whom he served and worked. Every summer from 2002-2004, he led a high school team to work with English camps. In 2005, Nate joined the JV team in Czech Republic to lead the English Camp ministry. Emily started coming to Czech in 2006 with her church in Arizona and quickly connected with the youth. She returned as an intern for the summers of 2007 and 2008. Upon arriving home in 2008, Emily began to pursue serving full-time with JV in Czech. On April 26, 2009, Nate and Emily were married and returned to Cesky Tesin where they serve in their local church, lead the English Camp ministry and provide care and leadership for the other JV missionaries in Czech. Their hope is that God will not only use them to ignite passion in Czech believers and to share the hope of Christ with unbelievers, but also that God would change them in powerful ways to be more effective for His Kingdom.
