Justin first visited Albania in 2001, and God planted a desire in his heart to help lead the youth ministry at a local church in the capital city, Tirana. Justin and Gretchen first started conducting evangelistic English camps in Albania using Josiah Venture’s model in 2003. Convinced that this tiny distraught country’s only hope was to be transformed by the love of Christ displayed through the changed lives of the next generation, they realized that full-time youth leaders were desperately needed. They moved to Tirana in January of 2006 and eventually joined Josiah Venture in 2008. Currently, Justin serves as Youth Pastor of Grace Church of Tirana, teaching, discipling, and training the next generation of Albanians to live for the glory of God. Gretchen is busy at home with three children, Samuel, Evangeline and Violet, but also spends time discipling the girls on their Student Ministry Team.
