Brittney was introduced to Josiah Venture in 2003 when she came with her home church in Arkansas to serve at a summer English camp in Czech Republic. Through another summer with her church in 2004, she fell in love with the Eastern European culture, its people, and the JV staff. In 2005, at a restaurant in Conway, Arkansas, Brittney met with Jay Hughes and made the choice to go to Ukraine for a summer. Brittney was hooked. She knew then that God was calling her back to Ukraine longterm. Her desire is to serve young leaders in Ukraine, be involved in discipleship, and play an active role in the tremendous response to the Gospel that is sweeping the country. Through God’s tremendous provision, Brittney joined her team in Lviv, Ukraine April 2008.
