At an English camp in the Czech Republic in 2004, Melissa heard God asking her to come back and be part of His work among the students of that country. For the next 5 years, she continued to pursue that calling, and in 2008, Melissa received an invitation to join JV’s staff in the Czech Republic. God gives His people the desire to serve Him and is faithful to fulfill that desire!

Melissa is passionate about inviting students to connect with Jesus through the Gospel and with God’s people through local churches. Her ministry will include traveling during the summer for English camps and spending the rest of the year supporting local youth leaders, as well as loving and discipling students in the northeastern part of the Czech Republic. She hopes to arrive on the field by the end of 2009.
