Born in 1979 to a non-christian family, Honza grew up in a little village near Olomouc. Since his youth he enjoyed sports, but after school began to work as a carpenter. When Honza was looking for purpose in his life, he found it when he put his faith in Christ.

He began attending the Baptist Church in Olomouc and also served there, at first as a helper and then as youth pastor. He found out that his heart is really for young people, that they would know Christ as well.

He graduated from the KAM internship program and now participates in the Sports Ministry of KAM in Vsetin.

His motto is: "For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." (Mt 6:21)

A great joy in his life is that he has a best friend, that he can dream, play soccer, climb up rocks, play guitar and sing, even though he does not do it well!
