Eliska

Born in 1977, then born again in 1990, it was Jirka’s brother who first talked to him about Jesus. Over time he began to think seriously about the claims of Christ, and eventually put his trust in Him.

As Jirka grew in his faith, he began leading youth in the church and found that he loved sharing his life with teenagers.He participated in the JV/KAM Internship Program and in 2006 was asked to serve with KAM as the sports outreach activity coordinator.His vision is to help churches use sports to share the Gospel. He wants to see mature sports leaders and athletes who invest into their friends’ lives with the good news of the Gospel.

Jirka is married to a wonderful wife named Majka and together they have a daughter, Eliska. They live in Valasske Mezirici in the eastern part of the Czech Republic. He loves all kinds of sports, especially soccer and running.
